Ingredients
- Lentils
- Rice
- Onion
- Olive Oil
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- 2 cups of lentils.
- Go through them for stones.
- Cook lentils until they start splitting and drain the water.
- Add 3 cups of water and when it boils, mix the rice in with the lentils and continue cooking on low heat.
- Stir a few times during the cooking so that the rice is mixed in thoroughly.
- Heat olive oil.
- Fry diced onion in olive oil until it starts to brown.
- Pour the fried onion with the oil into the lentils.
- Add the lemon juice
